This is the asian version of almond cookies. Uses a bit of butter and also peanut oil. Texture is light and fluffy. Quite nice except i think cos i used a tiny cookie cutter..i find it really tedious to cut the dough into shapes..took me quite a long time. I wanted to bake Kueh Bangkit today but when i was all ready, the recipie said i was suppose to fry the flour with pandan leaves then leave it to cool overnight?!

Hi, I'm Faithy. Faithy is my alter-ego. I was told back then when internet first started that it was dangerous to put your real name on the web...LOL.. (seriously not kidding!). So it was how this name Faithy came about and has stuck with me ever since. And as a matter of fact, I like it better than my real name..esp when I share the exact same name as my sister.. :D
